Services

1:1 Support
Our one to one offer is solution focused 1:1 support together with creative activities which are adapted to the individual needs of the child or young person.
Our strengths-based interventions help children and young people identify what they are good at and what is working well for them.
Mindsight Surrey CAMHS
We are working in partnership with Surrey and Borders NHS Foundation Trust to deliver this service throughout Surrey.
We have two centres (Tadworth and Guildford) and deliver 1:1 solution focused support for children and young people aged 5 – 18 years who need help with mental health and emotional well-being issues

Understanding Autism
This is a series of workshops for parents of children who show signs of having ASD (Autistic Spectrum Disorder) or traits of autism
It helps parents gain a clearer understanding of ASD, their child’s strengths and difficulties and to explore some positive parenting strategies.

Schools
Since 1997 Learning Space has been working with partner schools to support children and young people and families. This offer provides schools with weekly on-site support from one of our practitioners.
Our unique offer is a flexible mix of solution focused one-to-one and / or small groupwork which is negotiated with the school and customised to the individual needs of the child or young person.
Bubble Group
This group is for young people aged 11 years and over struggling with anxiety and social isolation.
For most young people the offer begins with time limited outreach (two sessions) to facilitate a trusting relationship to develop wherever the young person feels safest and this is most often in the home.

Training
This one-day workshop is aimed at anyone working with children, young people and families.
It will provide useful, practical strategies for early help practitioners including teaching and support staff in schools, home school link workers, family support workers and youth workers.
