PARENTS
Learning Space also works with children who are referred by their parents. These children are usually struggling in school and may have issues around school attendance, friendship, anger, low self-esteem / confidence or behaviour.

At the outset Learning Space will arrange a meeting with parents to find out further details and decide whether or not our support is the most appropriate.

Following this we will offer an individualised programme which can take place either on or off school site. The precise focus of the work will address the specific needs of the child but is likely to include some of the following; searching for individual strengths and resources, goal setting, coping strategies and activities to build self-esteem.

These programmes usually last between four and eight weeks.

The cost of this is £37 per hour.
